Mildew smell as entering the clean room. Toilet had flushing issues. Motel 6 is much better! Cost differences only 45 more dollars for a week at motel 6. Husband working in area and motel 6 was 225 a week including tax weimer motel 180.
Feels like home. Friendly people at the desk, affordable, quiet, and clean.

Clean, comfortable, feels more like a home than a motel, pet friendly, and very affordable ! My only complaint would be the train going through the town .
It's quiet, clean,, in away -- It's outdated so the decor makes it run down looking, but the owners ARE in the process of remodeling/updating. (young couple--trying, good for them). Price is fair, there's little garage port for ea. room. Animals are permitted, for a small fee (also weekly) of course. The owners are nice, friendly.
2-3 ⭐️ if that's all I focused on. But there were more pros than cons in my situation.
All in all, the place was fine, able to provide a temporary overnight stay to me, a traveler passing through -- at a fair price. Every other motel that I called within 20 miles was priced twice as high as the 35 I was charged here. I would stay here again if I needed to, no problem.

Give 4 stars---but need to know this is not 4-5 star hotel/quality rating. There no amenities but free wifi, warm shower, tp as needed, and place to sleep, stay a few, or place to live for a while. It's nice and quiet. I've stayed there 2x in last 10 months, ea. for 1 wk.Some might say it looks/ could be drug infested,flop/roach motel but the other tenants seemed pretty decent. --young kid on own first time, young couple down on there luck with new baby, man working nites. Never saw anything unsavory .(well, not the row of effic. rms I was at). I'm hoping next time, if need to, I'll be staying in one of the remodeled rms. I'll probably "demand" to please let me have one. Lol.
Rickety rack shack from the outside and inside, but clean and free of mold and mildew. The bed was a basic full size, with two pillows, two layers of linens; but it was on a solid frame with no sagging or musky smell in the mattress or boxspring. The floor was carpet and had some uneven spots; but it was clean and dry. There was a microwave, small fridge, desk, wooden desk chair, tv, and a solid well-designed and comfortable reading chair. The bathroom had a loose faucet which operated fine if I held it with two hands to turn on and off. The shower had hot water, but had a water flow governor head, which worked just fine to get the job done, no problem. The air conditioner was a little small for a high of 96 degrees; it took about 3 hours to get the room to 80; but an hour, or so later, the room was at 75; and I slept well with a temperature of 65 achieved and maintained.
